Problema con windows update

Buenos días,
Hacia finales de noviembre, Windows update me avisó de que estaban disponibles para su descarga las actualizaciones correspondientes al Service Pack 3 de Office 2003. Autoricé su descarga, pero al ver que después de 10 ó 12 días no se había producido, las descargué e instalé manualmente. Lo mismo tuve que hacer con el Service Pack 1 del paquete de compatibilidad con Office 2007 (no así con otras actualizaciones de dicho paquete que se instalaron bien de modo automático).
Desde entonces cada vez que reinicio el ordenador el archivo Windowsupdate.log registra intentos de recuperar varias descargas pendientes que creo que corresponden a estas actualizaciones.
¿Hay alguna manera de evitar que pase esto?
Con posterioridad a todo esto Windows update instaló automáticamente y sin ningún problema las actualizaciones del mes de diciembre.
Adjunto una copia de la última parte del archivo Windowsupdate.log que corresponde a un apagado y encendido del equipo.

Posiblemente se descargaron,pero se instalaron mal.Regresa a windows update,y revisa que las tengas instaladas,una vez instaladas,no tienen porque salirte mas.

En windows update no aparecen como instaladas, pero pienso que ello puede deberse a dos causas:

a) La descarga y la actualización acabé haciéndolas manualmente, no a través de Windows Update.

b) Se trata de actualizaciones de Office, no de windows.

Además, si que están instaladas ya que los programas de Office me indican que están actualizados al SP3.

No tiene nada que ver,que las actualizaciones esten bajadas en " windows update " o bien manualmente.Una vez estan instaladas,microsoft te las reconoce como instaladas,independientemnete de donde te las haigas bajado.

Pero vamos,no tiene mucha importancia.....pruebas de nuevo,bien manualmente o en update,y listo.
