Consulta para expertos en EXCEL - Función

Necesito saber porque razón se aplica la siguiente función con el signo { } y ademas porque me funciona en hoja excel y realizo la misma función en otra hoja y no me funciona. Indica tambien que Es una fórmula matricial que requiere pulsar:

ESTOY TRABAJANDO EN UNA PLANILLA SENCILLA SIN GRAFICOS CON UN MAXIMO DE 10 HOJAS Y SOLO DE NUMEROS Y TEXTO Y CUANDO LO GUARDO TERMINO CON UN ARCHIVO DE MÁS DE 150 MEGAS, HAY ALGO OCULTO DESDE EL INICIO DE UNA HOJA EN BLANCO A TENER EN CUENTA PARA QUE A LA HORA DE GUARDAR EL FICHERO NO ME QUEDE TAN GRANDE, ADEMÁS COMPARADO CON EL CONTENIDO EL TAMAÑO TOTAL TERMINA SIENDO EXAGERADO

Es posible que hayas dado formato en las columnas numericas a las 64000 filas, las cuales a pesar de parecer vacias al estar formateadas ocupan espacio.-
